Mobile Money’s infographic discusses male names in the US, Russia, China, Brazil, and Germany, as well as female names in Brazil, South Korea, Sweden, France, and Chile. It also compares the “commonly named” rich with the rich population of these countries in general. It may be a “chicken and egg” situation, however. Does having a common name mean you’re more likely to experience success, or is it simply that, for example, John is a common name among all people, and therefore it stands to reason that it will be the most common name among the American upper class? One thing’s for sure: With a last name like Duczeminski, your friendly neighborhood Lifehacker is going to have to do some extra legwork if he wants to reach the upper echelon!
